Welcome to the Wonderful World of Melissa (and Michael)
Here is one idea and you could make it today. This is Alan's absolute favorite.
ReplyDelete~Death By Chocolate~
1 Brownie Mix, prepared
1 large container instant chocolate pudding prepared
2 large containers whipped topping (Cool Whip)
7 to 10 Heath Bars (I would buy the bag of Heath bits)
Strawberries for garnish
Bake Brownies according to directions on box
Prepare pudding as directed
Fold 3/4 of one container whipped topping into prepared pudding.
Crush Heath Bars
Crumble brownies and place 1/2 in bottom of trifle bowl.
Next spread half the pudding mixture, followed by half of the crushed Heath Bars. Top the crushed candy with a layer of plain whipped topping. Begin layering again, with crumbled brownies, etc. End with plain whipped topping. Garnish with strawberries, plain or chocolate dipped. Enjoy!
IN ORDER TO MAKE IT SPECIAL, YOU COULD DO THESE IN INDIVIDUAL PARFAITS DISHES.
Death by Chocolate is wonderful. That's a good suggestion. I was going to suggest the apple dumplings you posted on your recipe blog.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the Death by chocolate- it's always a hit!
ReplyDeleteCreme Brulee', Creme Brulee', You had to know I would suggest that. Another favorite is Tiramisu or homemade, made in a spring form pan, crust and all no short cuts, raspberry cheesecake with chocolate cookie crust. Oh man am I getting hungry!
ReplyDeleteMake sure you let us know what you end up making so we can drool.
Smiles!
I like the death by chocolate or I have a hot fudge cake that you put ice cream on it that is soooo good!
ReplyDeleteI have a recipe that we love called "Gooey Chocolate Caramel Fantasy". It has a chocolate cookie crust, caramel pecans in the center, and a chocolate ganache topping. It's baked in a springform pan.(I added that just in case it's a deal breaker!) Call me if you want the recipe!
