SEM Christmas Dinner

Last Thursday SEM had the annual Christmas Dinner. Some ladies from the hosting church prepare a delicious dinner for everyone and some local Boy Scouts serve everyone. The room was decorated beautifully and the theme was snowflakes. We each recieved a snowflake ornament and a poem telling the significance of the snowflake.

A memorial fund was set up a few years ago in memory of the grandfather of one of the students. This year, they decided to use the funds to purchase Bibles for each of the students. They are incredible Bibles, with detailed pictures, and the students loved them. Above is my student, Erin, with her Bible.

The SEM students love to sing. We sang some wintery songs, like Let It Snow, and the leaders had rigged it up so it "snowed" as we sang. It was a huge hit with everyone!

The man in the red sweater loves to sing. His favorite song is "The King is Coming" and we sing it every night. He loves to direct everyone as we sing.

It was a great night and everyone had a wonderful time!
