Shopping...
I went shopping yesterday. I tend to do that a lot you know... :) I went to Family Christian Store. I was paying for my purchase and I had a nice coupon for 25% off any non-sale item, which saved me a substantial amount of money. The cashier told me I could get the family perks items for $5, but I passed on those. Then he told me about an offer I couldn't refuse. For just $5, you can purchase a (fairly large) teddy bear, and it will be donated to children through Barnabus ministries (I think that's the ministry, though I could be mistaken!). I couldn't resist, so I bought one. And I still ended up saving money, because my 25% off was more than $5!

That's great - you gave to a child somewhere and still saved money!
ReplyDeleteI love those teddy bears- we did that before too and they're really nice bears. I think that's a great thing- I bet a lot of kids get a stuffed animal from that.
